Time Slots:

Juniors Beginners 10:25am - 11:45am
Adult Advanced Scrimmage 11:55am - 12:55pm (subject to State League weekends)

Senior Beginners - for players 15+ who are new, or returning to inline hockey after a long break, or recreational players who would like to work on skills in a fun and welcoming environment, guided by coaches and assistants.

Junior Beginners - for players aged 7-14 who are new to the sport or looking to work on skills, guided by coaches and assistants.

Adult Advanced Scrimmage - for high level, experienced players aged 15+. Note: this is capped to 2 goalies and 16 players, and is run through an invite-only group to confirm numbers before the day. Players only have to commit one week in advance of the session. Spectators welcome- if you'd like to be involved, please contact hello@easystreetandroller.com.au

We'd like to kindly remind players to come to the rink with adequate time to get geared up, especially if you are using loaner gear.
If you are using loaner gear - as we have to be on the rink for the session starting time, we ask that you please arrive half an hour before your beginner sessions to allow us time to help you get your gear sorted, without impacting the regular session.

Whilst we also run the hockey bus, we are inside the rink during the sessions, so if there's any purchases required, please feel free to order online and select click and collect and we can bring it in for you.

Easy League Inline Hockey is an inclusive, fun way for beginners of all ages to learn and play inline hockey.
Our sessions are run so that we warm up doing drills and learning game techniques that we then can apply straight into game-play- the majority of the session is about playing the game!
Whether you're brand new, have had a long break between playing, or just want to come down and join in, Easy League Inline Hockey is for everyone.

Our goal is to continue building inline hockey in Perth so as more players join in, we can start running recreational and competitive leagues for juniors and senior players, for all skill levels - but first and foremost our goal will always be welcoming beginners and developing skills.

Our Junior Beginners & Scrimmers are for players aged 7-15 however some allowances can be made for players- please get in touch with us if you're not sure what to go with!
Unfortunately, we don't have the capability to teach the very basics of skating, so if it's your first time ever on inline hockey skates, it's best to head to your local roller rink, or basketball court, and find your balance before jumping out on the rink with us. If you can balance and cruise around a little bit, you'll be fine.

The season begins Saturday August 22nd, and runs for 10 sessions, however due to venue availability, we do have some by-weeks. We also occasionally have some adjustments to the schedule for reasons out of our control, but we guarantee we will do our due diligence with letting everyone know any changes.

*Over the weekend of November 28-29th November, we are planning Easy League Community Cup - a tournament for everyone! This will have divisions for beginner players, juniors, and an open senior drafted league. More info to come, but keep that weekend free, it'll be worth it!!)

Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Proto Design and Project Services, we are able to provide 10 full kits for players (excluding pelvic protection) to use in their sessions- skates and sticks included! Players are free to use our loaner equipment, the full set or just bits and pieces, for as long as they need to. Just make sure you give it back so nobody misses out! (As we don’t have an endless supply of loaner gear (yet) we do ask that you arrive nice and early to grab your gear, and we do our best to make sure we have the sizes/gear for everyone who needs it.

If you want to buy your own gear, head to www.easystreetandroller.com.au and shop online, or contact us for where you can board the bus to check it all out.

Mandatory Gear Required (Loaner Gear Available)
Helmet with face protection (cage or full face visor)
Elbow Pads
Hockey Gloves
Pelvic Protection (Jock/Jill) (*Not available in loaner gear*)
Shin Guards
Skates
Stick

Suggested Gear:
Girdle
Inline Hockey Pants
Hockey Jersey

We also recommend bringing a water bottle (there's a water fountain rink-side for refills), and wearing light-weight, non-restrictive sports clothes. Skating can be sweaty work, so jeans/trackpants/jumpers are best left off the rink. Hockey jerseys aren't mandatory, we do have some that can be borrowed, otherwise we recommend bringing a light and a dark colored shirt for game play.
